What will happen coming up to and on the day of my caravan service?
As your annual service approaches, one of our team members will give you a call approximately one week in advance to confirm that everything is on track and that you're happy to proceed as planned.
We kindly ask that you drop off your caravan the day before your scheduled service and collect it the day after. If you prefer to drop it off and collect it on the same day, this can be arranged, but must be discussed and booked with a member of our team in advance.
On the day of your service, we will keep you updated on the progress. Should any issues be identified during the service, we’ll let you know. Depending on the nature of the issue and our availability, we may be able to carry out repairs on the same day. However, please note that this is not always guaranteed.
You are under no obligation to proceed with any advised repairs. If you wish, you can choose to schedule them for a later date that is more convenient for you.
Once your service is complete, you will receive a copy of your service report by email, prepared by one of our certified in-house engineers.

Why should I service my caravan and how often?
Caravan servicing is recommended annually. Here at Edward James Caravans, we concur. We check lots of things that could pose a threat to your health such as gas systems, electrical systems, heating, tyres, running gear, your hitch which actually connects the caravan to the car, breaks, dampness/leaks and much more. In the UK we have 11 caravan-related car accidents every day so we recommend that you keep up to date with servicing as it may help to avoid that.

Call out charge does not apply to services. Parts and repairs are done on a case-by-case basis and can be quoted on-site more accurately or by a rough guide on the telephone.
